PREVIOUSLY IN SPAWN:
Sam and Twitch are summoned by the police to help with the case of The Soul crusher. After interviewing the victim’s father, they are at a loss. Elsewhere, Spawn and Cyan meet at Earl in an allewat. A dark car approsches and out of the back, springs Terry, Cyan’s dad, who has come after going missing for some time. They embrace and have a loving reunion. Back at the asylum where Cyan escaped from, an innocent doctor is surprised by the Soul Crusher, who wants information on where Cyan has gone.

Cyanが乗るスクール・バスが爆破される。Soul CrusherはCyanを救出するが、出くわしたAl:SpawnはSoul Crusherが爆破事故を起こしたと考え、彼の元にいたCyanを救い出そうとする。二人の戦いが繰り広げられるなか、助けを乞う少女の声が聞こえた。Janieがバスの下敷きになっていたのだ。Al:Spawnが救出に向かうなか、Soul Crusherもこれをサポートする。事態が収まるのを見てSoul crusherは地面に穴をあけて逃亡する。CyanはAl:Spawnが言うほどSoul Crusherが悪者には思えなかった。
