SUMMARY :
Well respected Dr. Ian Saunders counsels his patients in the office and on the radio. But Dr. Saunders has a heinous secret-skeletons in his closet. On the way home from his radio show he makes a stop at U-Stor-It. This place holds the good Dr.’s secrets-jars of heads-victim’s of his murderous rage. His personal moment is interrupted by another killer, Suture. She knows his secret and threatens to expose him unless Dr. Saunders can cure her of her inner demons and a promise from him not to kill again. Unfortunately after giving Suture what she needed, his beloved wife is the one who ultimately turns him in and ends his reign of terror.

CURSE OF THE SPAWN 28 SUMMARY
The best serial killer profiler the FBI had ever known, Damon Foster, offers to tell Dr. Marc Simmons who killed his wife and son if he helps catch Suture. They go to Travis Quinn’s warehouse on the assumption that Suture will also go there to murder Travis. A three-way confrontation ensures; Foster dies before revealing the Simmons’ family killer and Suture kills Travis before disappearing again.

周囲から尊敬されているDr. Ian Saundersはオフィスやラジオで患者にカウンセリングを行っている。しかし、サンダース博士のクローゼットには凶悪な秘密の趣味の遺物が隠されている。ラジオ番組の帰りに、彼は貸倉庫に立ち寄る。この場所には、善良な博士の秘密が保管されている。

サンダースはボンテージ・コスチュームを着込み、女装をする。そして掲げたガラス・ケースには彼による犠牲者の頭部がホルマリン漬けになっていた。それを見つめるサンダースの首元に、Sutureはナイフを静かに押し付ける。彼女はサンダース博士の秘密を知っていた。だが、彼を仕留めるのではなく、その秘密を明かさない代わりに彼女の内なる悪魔が悪人を二度と殺さないように治療を求めた。
その治療している最中、サンダース博士が帰宅すると、彼の妻が取り乱していた。そこには警官も来ており、サンダース博士の貸倉庫にある物について聞きたいことがあるとのことだった。ついに彼の醜悪な趣味は周知なものとなった。泣き崩れるサンダース博士を救うものはいない。Sutureはこれからも悪人を退治することを止められないだろう。だが、彼女は「これは私が選んだ人生だ。」と呟く。

Sutureは「これが答えなのか? これが人生か?」と自分に問う。そのためか、彼女はサンダース博士に対して彼の秘密を明かさない代わりに自分の内なる悪魔がこれ以上殺人を行わないように治療をするように強いる。
Sutureの物語は今号で終了する。サンダース博士の悪事は警察に知られることとなり、彼は逮捕される。それによってSutureの治療は途中で終わってしまった。
Sutureは”Curse of the Spawn 全29話のなかで7話に登場し、影の主人公ともいえる活躍を見せたが、あまりにも尻すぼみな終わり方となった。
こういった点については最終29話にてコメントを書きたいと思います。
