彼(Batman)は今夜以降、価値が無くなる。		When he learns he can save his mother — He’ll open the portal. Spawn’s just the trigger.
		Batmanは自分の母を救えると知ったならば、彼はポータルを開きます。SPAWNはまさにそれの引き金です。
Silence fills the room. Then…　：　静けさが部屋に満ちた。そして… (ボスからの返事がないということ)
		SPAWN
		I’ve taken your boss. you want him or Batman… Then come find us if you can.
		俺がお前のボスを誘拐した。お前が望めるのはボスかBatmanかのどちらかだ。ならば、できるなら俺たちを探しに来てみろ。
SPAWN disappears. : SPAWNが姿を消す。

The outskirts of gotham. An anger grows in Batman. He suppresses it He needs to use his brain now, not give in to emotion. Not be like SPAWN.
ゴッサム郊外。Batmanに怒りがこみあげてくる。彼はそれを抑制する。彼は感情に屈することなく、今こそ、彼の脳を使う必要がある時だ。SPAWNのような真似はせずに。

The Chemicals will knock out those that Batman needs. Our heroes have twelve minutes left. It’ll take eighteen for police to arrive. Hopefully, It’ll be over by then.

	Assassin :or what? なっ、なんだ?
	You’re afraid, I can tell. If not, step inside this zone.
	お前は恐れている。言ってやろう。こわがっていないのであれば、このZoneのなかに踏み入れてみろ。

		Tough talk. But you need what he’s holding. You need that pearl. So you come to me.
		高飛車な言いようだな。だが、お前はBatmanが持っているものを必要としている。お前は彼の真珠が必要だ。だから俺の元にきたのだろう。
He dose 彼はそうしたのだった。 And the inmates, watching the gladiators below, go wild. そして受刑者たちは彼らが見下ろす剣闘士を見ていて、暴れ始めた。

It wasn’t an accident when an asylum was bulit on this site. Someone knew a dead zone was there. A place where criminal powers would be dampened. Now many of its inmates, most put there by Batman, have taken a keen interest in the outcome of this battle. as for SPAWN, his necro-energy won’t work.
この場所に監獄所ができたのは偶然ではなかった。そこにデッドゾーンがあることを誰かが知っていた。犯罪力が弱まる場所。現在、そのほとんどがBatmanによってそこに入れられたその受刑者の多くが、この戦いの結果に強い関心を持っている。SPAWNに関しては、彼のネクロエネルギーには影響しない。

		This is my world. Your powers don’t work the same hrer, so let’s make this a fair fight.

His weapons get discarded. Assassinの武器が投げ捨てられた。

Tired, SPAWN allows himself a moment’s respite, but another enemy lurks. The Bat is an owl’s natural enemy.

Panicked, the owls strikes out randomly. Losing track of what he’s done. But SPAWN hasn’t…

		You’re got one shot left. It better be a kill shot. Cut the lights.
		まだ一発、残ってるぞ。命を奪うのには十分だ。ライトを消してくれ。

		The lights! Cut them!
		ライトだ! ライトを消してくれ!
A remote button is pressed by Batman. Everything goes black. But owl eyes are made for the dark.
Batmanがリモコンのボタンを押す。全てが闇と化す。だが、Owlの目は闇夜で見えるようになっていた。

		BATMAN(SPAWN)
		I’ve bought you time.
		あんたから時間をもらったのさ。
SPAWN parades his kill around yard for all to see. And as word spreads of what “BATMAN” just did, he knows it will have the effect he was seeking as he hides back in the shadows.
SPAWNは庭の周りにいる全ての人に自分の殺害シーンを見せびらかせた。”BATMAN”がそれを行ったという噂は広まるにつれて、それがもたらす効果をSPAWNは知っていた。Batmanが陰に隠れている時にもその効果はある。

真紅のひとかけらが流れる。SPAWNをただの人間にしてしまう流れ (SPAWNをDead zoneに押しやってしまう)　2分だ。

	Last chance, Batman! You help open the portal or I slit Simmon’s throat, then break his neck!
	最後のチャンスだ、Batman! お前がポータルを光のを手伝わないと、私はシモンズの喉を切り裂き、首をへし折るぞ。
Go ahead, do it! I don’t care! He just killed a man. But when you do.. I release this button and this entire Asylum shuts down. Every cel in here will open. you’ll never take over Gotham. You know why? It won’t be Superman or Flash who stops you. It’ll be them… The villains.
いいぞ、やれ。私はきにしない。そいつは人を殺している。しかしお前がやれば私はこのボタンを離す。そうすればこの監獄全体の電源が落ちる。ここにある全ての牢獄が解放されるだろう。お前は二度とゴッサムから逃れられない。何故だかわかるか? お前を止めるのはSupermanでもFlashでもない。彼らだ。ここにいる犯罪者どもだ。

…They may hate me, but there’s one thing they hate more—that’s anyone who helped make me! You just told everyone that was you. They’ll hunt you down and do what they like most… that’s hurting people! You’ll spend the next decade fighting them. There’s dozens of them!

Bruce spies SPAWN outside the zone.
BruceはSPAWNがDead zoneの外にいるのを密かに見ていた。
Hers was taken long ago. like Wanda’s. like Simmons’s That’s why you needed me, isn’t it? My soul’s still intact! that’s what you were so desperate for—my humanity– the one weapon all of you lost long ago!
母の魂はとっくの昔に奪われた。ワンダも、シモンズの魂も。だから、お前は私を必要とした。私の魂はまだ無傷だからだ。お前がずっと前に失っていたもの、私の人間性、その唯一の武器を切望していた。
He utters the word… 彼は言葉を発しようとしていたが…

SPAWN’cape opens, then swallows its victim whole. Batman had hoped SPAWN would take something with him before disappeaeing. Forever!
SPAWNのケープが開き、暗殺者を丸ごと飲み込んだ。Batmanは姿を消すとともに奴を連れ去っていくことを望んだ。永遠にだ。

Searchin, he finally finds the device. It’s cracked. He wonder if that matters.
探索したところ、彼はデバイスを見つけた。それはひび割れていた。そのデバイスが重要なものなのか、彼は困惑していた。
EPILOGUE:
Wanda stares at the signal. She doesn’t know what it means.
