SUMMARY :
Tony Twist learns about the people who destroyed his businesses and are after him. He then learns from a priest that the Vatican Secret Police are looking for someone in the Twistelli organization and will stop at nothing until they find him. The VSP is looking for someone who belongs to the ancient and ex-communicated order of the Knights of Templar. A man who has been sent to find and convert Spawn, the obsessive religious fanatic called The Curse.

Curse of the Spawn #17 Summary
Mafia mob boss Antonio Twistelli, experiences several hits. The first bomb, strapped to a small boy, killed several of Twistelli’s friends and family at a wedding reception. Then, an anti-aircraft gun took out his money laundering warehouse, the cell phone cloning operation and his restaurant. When Twistelli calls the other mob bosses to find out who is after him and why, no one will get involwed. Ultimately, Jason Winn gives Twistelli the chilling news: he abused OvertKill, a prized plaything of a powerful Italian godfather. With nothing left to lose, Antonio Twistelli becomes a very dangerous man.
