The video became longer and the file size increased. Compressing the video will result in poor image quality. I uploaded the video to Vimeo and linked it to the blog post. I’ll explain briefly.

Maximize the video display.
Although the video is compressed to 5-10MB, the image quality does not decrease so much for short videos, but for long videos like this one, the image quality inevitably deteriorates. It may be inconvenient, but try using it. I think it’s a good idea for mobile viewers to be able to watch in good image quality.

今回製作した動画は1分20秒ほどで、あとは自分が雰囲気を味わいたくて3分10秒という長いエンドロールをつけています。但し、そのあとにおまけがあります。
２０２５年４月２日にアップしたものが「Director’s Cut 最終版」になります。「前に観たことあるよ。」という方もカット割りを増やして、かなり変わっていますので、もう一度観てみてください。
なお、字幕は外しました。

いろいろとカット割りを再検討した結果、下の動画になりました。

Homage of “STAR WARS (1997)”
本来ならDarth VaderとObi-wan Kenobiとの戦いのシーンですが、Alicia Williamsに登場してもらっています。彼女は魔女の力でDarth Vaderが持つ暗黒面のフォースを操っています。Darth Vaderの身体を包む炎は彼のフォースがAliciaにコントロールされて自身を攻撃しているものです。精霊の力を借りるようにAliciaはDarth Vaderから暗黒面のフォースの力を引き出しているわけです。しかしDarth VaderもAliciaの言葉を考えたうえでフォースを使うのを止めていきます。シスは怒りなどの感情でフォースの力を強めています。Darth Vaderはその感情に飲み込まれずに鎮めることができた。Aliciaは少し驚きますが、Darth Vaderにまだ善の心が残っているのではないかと感じます。”Bye-Bye, pretty boy” AliciaはAnakin Skywalkerを茶化したのではなく、未来が消え去っていない少年に期待を込めてそう言ったのでしょう。
Aliciaが登場するシーンの撮影もいろいろと苦労がありましたが、一番の見どころはDarth Vaderに「映画にはないセリフ」をしゃべってもらったことです。彼の撮影は本当に順調で、NGはひとつも出しませんでした。お疲れ様です。
