SPAWN DARK AGES SUMMARY
Raven is a young woman envious of her brother’s ability to go off to war. She decides to leave her family rather than fulfill her father’s wish of getting marries and having babies. Raven’s quest is to find and defeat the Beast of the Wood. Elsawhere, Covenant encounters a sorcerer named Dumas. And while Gareth attends to the funeral of his friend Makus, he is attacked by Chistians of the order of Bishop Gaston Gui seeking the Necroplasm.

GarethがRavenに発見されたとき、死にかけていたとはいえ、まだしぶとく生きており、盗まれたネクロプラズムを見つけてヘルスポーンに返すことを誓う。一方、Dumasとコヴナント卿はお互いに尊敬の念を抱いていることを見出す。偉大な魔術師であるDumasは自分の知識をコヴナント卿と共有することを決意する。だがDumasに残された命はわずかであったため、知識の継承に費やす時間はとても短い。同じ頃に、若いAlexはバイキング船での冒険の可能性に非常に魅力を感じている。
やがてDumasの命が尽きると、彼はコヴナント卿に新しいアイデンティティ、目的、そして新しい名前を与える: He is Spawn.
