Knowhere is the satellite moon of Doom’s battleworld. Many years ago, Doom
defeated a giant celestial guardian and sved the worldfrom total
destruction. All that remains is the floating head.

After Defeating the criminal Yotat and handing him over to the Nova corps, the
brief alliiance between Thorsguard Angela and the renegade Guardians of
Knowhere dissolved. Gamora had left Knowhere without permission, and her
only defense was blasphemy: She thinks there are pieces missing from Doom’s
creation. As Gamora resisted her arrest, her scuffle with Angela was
interrupted by a giant warrior woman who appeared out of thinair.

突然現れたHala the accuserにAngelaもGamoraも困惑していた。二人とも今まで彼女のことを見たことがなかった。武器を下ろすようにAngelaが言うが、言葉が通じないようだった。そしてHala the accuserが鉾を振るう。Angelaがハンマーで受け止めるが、その衝撃でHala the accuserもAngelaも吹き飛ばされてしまう。GamolaにはHala the accuserが怖がっているようにも見えた。そして突然、the accuserが上空から再度、攻撃を仕掛ける。AngelaとGamolaが立ち向かった際の衝撃に、Knowhereの外壁が吹き飛ぶ。
そこにNova Corpsの一団が加勢に入る。Vemonの触手にてthe accuserを拘束したように見えたが、彼女はそれすら振りほどく。だが、AngelaとGamolaの剣がthe accuserの身体を貫いた。

Gamolaは全てを捨てていたわけではない。父であるThanos、そしてメンバーのQuill、Groot。目を閉じれば彼らの姿が浮かぶ。その思いは潰えていない。
だが、GamolaがAngelaに思いの丈を伝えている時に、the accuserの鉾がAngelaの背中から貫いた。だが、Guadians of the Galaxyのメンバーも合流し、マンティスが地面から蔦をはやし、the accuserの身体を再び拘束する。Angelaを失った悲しみを込めてGamolaがThe accuserを仕留める。
GamolaはPeter達との再会に心を震わせていた。

事態は好転したわけではない。未だDoomの支配が続く世界。その続きはSECRET WARとGuardians of the Galaxy vol.4 #1にて語られていく。

「M.O.D.O.K. Assassin」と同じようにSECRET WARシリーズの派生作品の一つ。Hala the accuserに背中から鉾を貫かれたAngelaは絶命したかのように見えるが、Marvel UniverseでAngelaが死亡したわけではなく、マルチバースでの一つの話という位置付と言える。主人公はGamoraで彼女が自分を取り戻す話がメインとなる。
