SUMMARY :
The Multiverse was undone! Now all that remains is Battlewolrd, a massive, patchwork
planet compos’d of the fragments of the worlds that have left this mortal plane, and
maintained by its god and master, Victor Von Doom!

In one such fragment, Lord Doom’s mightiest Witch Hunter, Angela, is on a quest to
vanquish the vile evil of the Faustians — foul souls who have forg’d pacts of great power
with the Enchantress of Faerie.

Thus, the Enchantress appear’d unto Angela pledging a vow of vengeance: that upon
Angela’s slaying of three Faustians, her dearest companion and fellow Witch Hunter,
Serah, would be no more than ash and bone.

The hunt is on! The Faustians have made their deal with the Devil — er, Enchantress — but Angela isn’t going to take that lying down, is she? No, not by her psychic ribbons and very, very pointy weapons, no, she is not. Out into the wilds of the countryside, Angela and Sera collide with a wandering caravan of ne’er-do-well performers. (Hint: their name starts with a “G” and ends with an “Y” and has an “Uardians of the Galax” in the middle.) Pagan rites, dubious ethics, a deadly curse, and Kieron and Irene Koh being up to no good… who can resist the lure of the Faustians?

AngelaとSerahは旅を続けていて、Hevenの母修道院長が3番目のファウストが見つかるかもしれないと言った城に辿り着いた。臣下の者は彼女たちを出迎えた。ここには病棟があり、Anna Mariaという娘が鎖で拘束されていた。司教、マスター・コールソンの娘とも言われている。AngelaとSerahが彼女のところに向かうと、彼女は敵意をむき出しにした。だが、それは彼女の意思ではない。Annaの肌に浮かび上がる妖精の女王の姿。Annaは女王がAngelaのことを知っていると言う。女王はAngelaに取引を申し出ていると言う。既にその取引は成立していると。
Serahは臣下の者からAnnaに付けている鎖の鍵を受け取った。魔法使いは３人目のファウストが死んだ時にはSerahは灰と骨しか残らないと言った。Annaの人生を救うことは私たち自身も救うことになる。

AngelaはAnnaを昼夜に関わらず常に監視していた。夜にAnnaは悪夢にうなされていた。Angelaが彼女の元に向かうと、Annaは落ち着くために何か、話をしてほしいと願う。Angelaは街で見かけた喜劇の話をした。だが、彼女のなかに住まう妖精の女王が暴れ出す。それを止められないと判断したSerahはAnnaに槍を突き刺した。現れた妖精の女王は３人目のファウストは死んだと告げて、Serahの命を奪い、姿を消す。

Serahの葬儀が済み、埋葬をしている際に、Serahの頭蓋骨がAngelaに語り掛けてくる。


「1602 Witch Hunter Angela」はパラレルワールド(Battle world)である1602年、ジェームス王が統治するイングランドを舞台に、AngelaとSeraが王国に蔓延る魔女(Witch)を狩るハンターとして活躍する姿を描いた、”Angela:Asgard’s Assassin”の前日談のような物語である。但し、ここで登場するAngelaは変容して「ファウストの女王」となり、「ANGELA:QUEEN OF HEL」にてAngelaの前に登場することとなります。
