SUMMARY :
“Ancient Chinese Secret, Huh?” Part 5
The penultimate chapter of this story arc and the secret is revealed! Sam and Twitch have seen a lot during their careers, but nothing—and we mean NOTHING—could have prepared them for this! (Hint: vampires and heroin seem almost elementary compared to this one!)

PREVIOUS ISSUE
Unable to escape a pair of fangs, Twitch is bitten on the arm by one of the member of The Black Slamander gang. With all the supernatural events occurring around them, Sam makes sure to treat Twitch’s injury with holy water.
During this time, the members of the CSI team begin examining evidence found at the church. Some items that are found begin to raise suspicion on just how “real” thses vampires are. Industrial-strength bungee cords as well as traces of porcelain from Twitch’s bite would lead the detectives to believe that they are dealing with nothing more than elaborate actors. Actors who happen to smuggle heroin.
What they don’t realize is that Detective Lo is working with The Black Salamander.

牙から逃れることができず、トゥイッチはブラック・スラマンダー・ギャングのメンバーの一人に腕を噛まれてしまう。周囲で超常現象が起きる中、サムはトゥイッチの怪我を真っ先に聖水で治療する。
この間、CSI チームのメンバーは教会で見つかった証拠の調査を開始する。発見されたいくつかのアイテムは、これらの吸血鬼がどれほど「本物」であるかについて疑惑を引き起こし始める。工業用並みの強度を備えたバンジーコードや、トゥイッチに噛まれた磁器の痕跡から、刑事たちは彼らが相手にしているのは精巧な俳優にすぎないと考えるようになるだろう。ヘロインを密輸してしまった俳優たち。
彼らが気づいていないのは、ロー刑事がブラックサラマンダーと協力しているということだ。
