2021年に引き続き、2022年もMARVEL’S VOICES : PRIDE #1 が発売されます。LGBTQAI+を扱ったセンシティブな内容となっています。今回、Olivier Coipelが描いたvariant coverにAngelaが登場しています。映画「Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness」でもAmerica Chavez ( 両親が二人とも女性という、ラテンアメリカ系のLGBTQAI+キャラクター)が登場していることもあり、MARVEL COMICSが本格的にLGBTQAI+や人種問題を扱う姿勢が見られます。
Angelaも10th Realmにて出会ったSeraという女性に、恋愛にも近い感情を持っているという設定となっていますので、このLGBTQAI+を扱ったタイトルに登場している経緯があります。
