Thanks to the events of ORIGINAL SIN, the deepest secret of the Nine Realms is revealed… a Tenth Realm! Previously… The watcher has been murdered!
During the conflict with a murder suspect who had one of Watcher’s eyes, the eye detonated, exposing secrets the Watcher had witnessed to everyone in the blast area — including THOR, The god of thunder.
Thor is from Asgard, one the nine realms. He is son of Odin — The former ruler of Asgard, currently M.I.A. — and Freyia — the current ruler of asgard. Thor also has an adopted brother named Loki, the trickster god.
Thor learned two secrets from The Watcher’s eye: There is a tenth realm, and he has a sister! Long ago, a war between Asgard and the angels of the tenth realm came to an end when the Queen of angels killed Odin and Freyja’s infant daughter and, in response, Odin banished the tenth realm from all known existence.
But Thor believes his sister is somehow still alive, so he and Loki traveled to the tenth realm in search of her, only to be ambushed by angels eager to spill Asgardian blood. Loki quickly slipped away mid-battle to make a deal with the Queen of angels, leaving Thor on his own to face a newcomer to the batlle — Angela, the deadliest member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and also the lost daughter of Asgard…
And she has one thing on her mind: vengeance.

ヒーロー・チームは、殺人の容疑者であるThe Orbを追跡していた。The OrbはThe Watcherを殺害した後にその目を抉り取り、奪い取っていた。紛争中、目は爆発し、The Watcherが目撃した数々の秘密は爆破エリアのすべての人が目撃した。そこにはThor–雷の神–もいた。
Thorはアスガルドの出身であり、アスガルドは9つの領域の 1つ。 (そのなかにはアスガルド人に語り告げられていたミッドガルドもある。) ThorはOdinの息子。Odinはアスガルドの元君主、現在はM.I.A. — そしてFreyjaがアスガルドの現在の支配者。ThorにはLokiという養子の兄弟もいる。
ThorはThe Watcherの目から 2 つの秘密を学んだ: 10番目の領域があり、彼には妹がいる! 遠い昔、アスガルドと第10領域の天使たちとの間の戦争は、天使の女王がOdinとFreyjaの幼い娘を殺した時に終結し、それに応じて、Odinはすべての既知の存在から第 10領域を追放しました。
しかし、Thorは妹がまだ生きていると信じており、彼とLokiは彼女を探して第10の領域に移動したが、アスガルドの血を流そうとする天使たちに待ち伏せされた。Lokiは天使の女王と取引をするために戦いの途中ですぐに逃げ出し、Thorは戦いに新たに加わったAngelaと対峙することになった…

The Watcherはマーベル・コミックスに登場する架空の地球外生物の種族です。彼らは一般に、架空の多元宇宙とその中で物語が展開されるのを見守る全能の存在として描かれ、宇宙のあらゆる側面に関する知識を観察し、編集することに専念しています。他のキャラクターと交流することは許可されていませんが、状況が必要な場合に何度か接触してくることがありました。
“Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3 #6″にも登場しているThe Watcherだったが、AngelaとGamoraが戦っているのをただ観察しているだけでした。
“Original Sin”ではThe WatcherのUatu(ウアツ)が殺されて、眼球がえぐり取られている状況で発見されました。殺人者であるOrbが奪ったUatu(ウアツ)の眼球によって、すべての主要なマーベル キャラクターの衝撃的な秘密が明らかにされていきます。
“Original Sin”は特別版なども出版されるなかで8巻にて完結しますが、このなかで5巻の派生ストーリーとして#5.1～#5.5がAngelaの真実を描くパートとして出版されました。
