SUMMARY :
Spawn has been thrown into the realm of Greenworld, a third power beyond Heaven and Hell. There he learns that the earth is under siege by man’s relentless pollution and overuse of its resources. He is given the task to stop the war between Heaven and Hell in order to preserve Mother Nature. Back in the alleys, Bootsy prays for Spawn’s return to earth and is removed from earth for interfering with mortal’s lives.

SPAWN №74 Summary
Sam and Twitch ponder the results of their research on Lt. Colonel Al Simmons. Meanwhile, Spawn continues to battle the Heap until he ends up engulfed by the mass of trash just as Cog and Bootsy arric\ve to save him. When Bootsy kneels to pray for help. he finds the sigil of the Hellspawn, a token signifying that Spawn is indeed gone. Elsewhere, Spawn falls into dark space where the former Eddie Beckett awaits for him and points him toward a light source and where he is welcomed ‘home’.

ここはどこだ。自然に包まれた場所へAl:Spawnは到着する。異変は他にもある。マレボルギアへの忠誠の印、地獄への絆である紋章が消えて無くなっている。よくわからん。天国なのか？だが、突然に蔦がAl:Spawnの身体へと纏わりつく。ここは天国ではない。楽園だ。

その頃、地上では雷雨に包まれていた。「最終戦争の始まりか。」ブーツィはヘルスポーンの紋章へと意識を集中するが、Al:Spawnの存在を感じられない。そしてテリーの家ではサイアンが突然、発作を起こしていた。「かえってきて・・・」サイアンは力なく呟く。

一方、Al:Spawnの元に一人の人物が現れ、彼に試練を与えようとしていた。Al:Spawnは初めて自分の存在に気がつく。自分は清らかな水面に投じられた毒の石のようなものだ。自分の存在自体が世界を汚し、多くの命を奪う。そして最終戦争へと想いが繋がる。そこで天界と魔界との戦いが始まってしまえば、地球にどんな影響が出るか判らない。Al:Spawnは天界と魔界の争いを終わらせる存在なのだ。第三の勢力”The Green world”の伝え手’The Keeper’はAl:Spawnに告げた。お前がその運命を受け入れないと言うのなら、元凶である人間を消し去ろう。

やがてAl:Spawnは路地裏へと帰還する。出迎えたブーツィだったが、彼の元には天界の使者が訪れていた。ブーツィことBelazikkalは、既に死すべき運命であったボビーの魂へ干渉した罪で地球から天界へと連れ戻されそうになっていた。ブーツィはAl:Spawnへと訴えた。「お前がマレボルギアと契約したのは確かか？」そしてブーツィはAl:Spawnに最期の望みを伝えた。「御子が来る。お前が御子を守るんだ！」
